Fall

So it is officially fall!! I decorated the house yesterday with all of our Fall Decorations. Of course Ypsi had to attack some of them and knock them on the floor for Emma to finish the attack. This in the end meant that we had to break out the vacuum and pick up pieces of fake leaves, pumpkins, & picture frames. Yes I said picture frames. For some crazy reason Emma enjoys the taste of the back of picture frames.

Pat and I made a huge wreath yesterday and hung it outside on our chimney. It looks so nice. Its the type of wreath we can use for other things. Cant wait for Winter so we can decorate it with garland and lights. I've already started checking out lights for our "Griswald Christmas Tree". It's a huge pine tree in our front yard that we decorate with lights. Its so obnoxious and large that we had to name it the "Griswald Tree"...Christmas Family Vacation, Chevy Chase. You have all seen it and trust me, after Thanksgiving I will post some pics of it.

Nothing too exciting around here, the leaves are starting to change color, less use of our AC, I got a Jury Notice in the mail...YUCK!!!!!!!!!!! Im disapointed I got the notice but in a way I hope if I get picked it's exciting. Ive gotten out of Jury Duty 2 times already. Make it worth my while! I'll keep you all updated on the jury status.

Work is going good for both of us. Luckily we have not been affected yet by the economy. In fact I didn't realize how poor of state we were in! Well better rap this up, gotta watch the presidential debate!!! Hey, I need to know what the next President has to say and how they are going to make our lives better!!

So yesterday we got our new roof put on. Both Pat & I took the day off from work and sat around all day and watched the guys work. What a day. It was a very long process but the crew did it all in one day. We are so happy to have the new one on. Hopefully this will keep our heating and cooling bills down. The real test will be this winter!!

Hello All!

Well this is officially our first Blog! I've been meaning to do something like this for a while. Hope you guys enjoy it!

Tomorrow is a big day! Pat and I are getting a new roof on our house. Well overdue, expensive, but worth it.

The weather is starting to get cool. Mornings are starting to feel like Fall. Some trees are starting to change colors.

Ry is home for the moment but will soon be off to another job. My work is going good and so is Pats. The economy sucks right now but at least we have our jobs and a home to go to at the end of the day!! We cant complain!
